Krakow is the second largest city in Poland. Not only does it represent an important point on the tourist and cultural map of the country, however, it is a huge market for many goods and services. The large population of the Krakow agglomeration is conducive to economic activity and causes no problems with access to labor. The Małopolska region attracts a large number of investors from abroad thanks to, among other things, Special Economic Zones - the well-known Kraków Technology Park is a good example.

The strategic location of Cracow on the map of Central and Eastern Europe attracts considerable interest from foreign investors. The city has convenient road and rail connections with the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Ukraine, which significantly favors the distribution of many goods. The main transport routes are National Road No. 7, which connects Pomerania with the southern Polish border in Chyżne, and the A4 highway, which is included in the Pan-European Transport Corridor. This route allows efficient logistics of goods between warehouses in Rzeszow, Krakow, Katowice, Opole or Wroclaw.
Another advantage of Kraków's warehouse market is access to Kraków-Balice airport. This allows convenient export of goods out of the country by air. Upper Silesia an alternative to a warehouse in Krakow
When looking for space to rent in Krakow, tenants often opt for warehouses located in Upper Silesia. This choice is dictated by the greater availability of warehouse space and competitive rental rates. An important link between Upper Silesia and Małopolska is the A4 highway, which allows efficient access between the cities of both agglomerations. However, this trend significantly hampers the development of warehouse supply in Krakow.
An additional problem is also the unregulated status of many lands that could be used for new investments. This is a considerable problem that hinders the development of logistics. Such a rich consumer market certainly needs distributors and modern logistics complexes. This is evidenced by the fact that most of the tenants of warehouse space in Małopolska are TSL companies, retail chains and suppliers of food products.
